Looking for a Halloween gift for a train lover that is more memorable than candy or a standard decoration? The MOC-89126 1/40 4014 Big Boy Dynamic RC Train puts a legendary American locomotive at the center of the Halloween season.
The Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 is one of the most iconic steam locomotives ever built. Its massive 4-8-8-4 wheel arrangement and powerful articulated design have made it a favorite among train enthusiasts and collectors.
Now, the Big Boy gets a spooky twist.
The Big Boy Halloween Celebration Edition features 3,527 pieces, while the optional Halloween Decoration Add-on Pack adds another 327 pieces for creating a festive display with pumpkins, ghosts, bats, and other Halloween details.
A Halloween Train That Stands Out
Halloween gifts are often temporary. Candy disappears, costumes are packed away, and decorations eventually go back into storage.
A Big Boy Halloween Train is different.
Build it, display it, run it, and bring it back every October. The combination of a legendary locomotive and Halloween-themed details makes it both a seasonal decoration and a long-term collectible.

Build, Run, and Display the Big Boy
The Big Boy is more than a static train model.
With its RC motorized drive system, rotating wheels, and moving pistons, the locomotive can run on the track after assembly. At approximately 89 cm long and 13.5 cm high, it also has the presence of a true display model.
The detailed construction combines traditional building blocks with mechanical components, giving builders an engaging project before the train ever reaches the tracks.
Once completed, you can choose how to enjoy it:
· Run it as an RC train.
· Display it as a detailed Big Boy model.
· Decorate it for Halloween with the add-on pack.
· Bring it back every year as part of your Halloween setup.
Why the Big Boy Halloween Edition Makes a Great Gift
A great Halloween gift should be more than something that looks spooky for a few weeks. It should give the recipient something to build, enjoy, and remember.
The Big Boy Halloween Edition checks all three boxes.
1. It is unexpected
Candy and Halloween decorations are everywhere. A detailed Big Boy 4014 train model is something much more unusual.
2. It is interactive
This is an RC train, not just a display piece. The motorized system, moving wheels, and pistons make the finished model fun to operate.
3. It is collectible
The real Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 is a legendary piece of American railroad history. Building a detailed brick version gives train enthusiasts a way to celebrate that history at home.
4. It can become an annual Halloween tradition
The Halloween decorations can transform the locomotive into a seasonal centerpiece year after year.
Instead of buying another disposable Halloween decoration, you can build something that becomes part of the celebration.
