This is a model of the GTL-8 tram, which operated in The Hague, Netherlands, for 45 years starting in 1981. The model incorporates elements from various versions of the real tram. Over the years, the GTL-8 tram underwent numerous upgrades, such as the addition of a matrix display, slightly different striped liveries, air conditioning, and a new front end. My model retains the original (first-generation) destination sign (using a paper roll display) and the original front end, while also incorporating the latest striped livery and air conditioning unit.

1. This model is not only suitable for display but also offers playability. It can run (manually) on standard (R40) track. All doors except the front door can be opened. The roof is removable, allowing for a view of the interior structure.
