1. Original design created and licensed by DarthDesigner: MOC-167015 Sukhoi SU-57 Stealth Fighter 1/70 Scale. Inspired by the Russian military’s stealth fighter, this design has undergone multiple revisions and reviews. It features a well-balanced structure, is sturdy, and offers an excellent building experience. It perfectly recreates the aircraft’s appearance and structure, with a distinctive design and color scheme that makes it highly valuable for display and collection.
2. Background Story:
The Sukhoi Su-57 (NATO reporting name: Felon) is a twin-engine stealth multirole fighter developed under Russia’s PAK FA program, initiated in 1999 as a more modern alternative to the MFI. Internally designated T-50, it is Russia’s first operational stealth aircraft and the foundation for a planned family of stealth combat aircraft. As a fifth-generation fighter, the Su-57 combines stealth, super-maneuverability, supercruise capability, integrated avionics, and a large internal payload capacity for air-to-air, ground, and maritime strike missions. Intended to replace the MiG-29 and Su-27, it first flew in 2010 but faced delays due to structural and technical issues, including the crash of the first production aircraft. After repeated postponements, it entered service with the Russian Aerospace Forces in December 2020, with 11 production aircraft built by December 2022, excluding prototypes.
