1. The MH-60J helicopter is a multi-purpose, twin-engine, medium-range helicopter operated by the U.S. Coast Guard to perform a variety of missions, including search and rescue, law enforcement, military readiness, and marine environmental protection. Originally designated the HH-60J, the helicopter was upgraded and redesignated the “Jehawk” in 2007.
