1. Designed and authorized by bru_bri_mocs: The SS *France* (MOC-62291) in 1:400 scale.
2. Model Description:
The SS *France* was a French passenger ship—and one of the last ocean liners ever built—operated by the Compagnie Transatlantique from 1962 to 1974. It subsequently served as a cruise ship under the name "Norway," operated by Norwegian Cruise Line from 1979 to 2006.
I designed this scale replica of the original ocean liner *France*, incorporating all of the ship's distinctive features: the bow windbreaker (a legacy of the SS *Normandie*), the stabilizing fins, and the unique shape of its twin funnels.
This model is constructed primarily using classic elements such as plates and bricks. It also features a generous number of tiles, modified/wedge plates, and various Technic elements—specifically bars and bar holders. The overall aesthetic represents a blend of the Creator, Microscale, and Architecture styles, resulting in a model that is both highly detailed and remarkably realistic.
